District 202 high school music departments will host their annual Madrigal Concerts in December.
Plainfield High School-Central Campus will host its 46th annual Madrigal Performance at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, 2024, in the auditorium, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.
Two vocal ensembles, the Madrigal Singers and Madrigal Trouveres, as well as the Madrigal Instrumentalists, will present a night of merriment and joy, set in the backdrop of a medieval castle during the holiday season.
Tickets are $10 and include dessert.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for assigned seating.

Plainfield East High School will host its Madrigal Performance with a meal at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, 2024, in the auditorium, 12001 S. Naperville Road, Plainfield.

The Court Magician, Merlin, has retired and has left the court without magical guidance. But do not fear, dear friends! Caterina the Cursed, Agnese the Anguished, and Nicholas the Nitwit have bravely stepped up to compete for the title of the Southern Kingdom's Court Magician. Through a trial of tears, unicorns, and the hokey pokey, the Lords and Ladies of this court are sure to have an adventuresome evening.
