Check out these amazing snowflakes created by 1st grade students! After hearing the story “The Snow Thief” by Alice Hemming, the students were able to choose between geometric tiles and wood planks for their creation.










Second grade students created magical snowflakes with white crayons, blue paint, and salt after hearing the story “The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats.





After hearing the story “A Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats, kindergarten students created snowmen out various STEM materials. They did a great job with this challenge!





Our BOB teams are looking good, this is shaping up to be an epic battle! #battleofthebooks


It’s officially sweater weather! Fifth grade students heard the read aloud “Snow” by Uri Shulevitz, and then created cozy sweaters.








Flags at all District 202 buildings will fly at half-staff today for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.


Fourth grade students made origami owl bookmarks after hearing the read aloud “Owl Moon”. They did a great job - so creative!








After hearing the story Sneezy the Snowman, a rhyming read aloud about a snowman that keeps melting after trying to warm up, third grade students made their own melted snowman!







Thomas Jefferson Elementary School students raised $1,000 to support Field Day in spring. They bought strips of tape and taped their physical education teachers — Ms. Zettek, Mr. Cocallas, and Ms. Sharp — to the gymnasium wall.






Fourth and fifth grade students learned about Battle of the Books today, and the five titles were revealed!




School is officially out for Thanksgiving break! Classes resume Monday, December 2. #202proud
