Thank you to all individuals who contributed to the success of our Field Day event for our students. Our students greatly enjoyed the activities today.
Sue Hasenyager, who survived the 1990 F-5 tornado that tore through Plainfield, recently talked to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School third graders about her experience. She also brought artifacts from the time including a clock from Plainfield High School that stopped when the tornado hit it. Her talk coincided with the units on weather and local history.
The presentations delivered by our 4th-grade students at the Wax Museum were exemplary.
