American Sign Language with Mrs. Kozola

American Sign Language with Mrs. Kozola

Welcome to American Sign Language!

My name is Sarah Kozola, and I am the ASL teacher at Plainfield South High School.  I taught deaf and hard of hearing students for 11 years and am looking forward to starting my second year here at PSHS to spread the love for Deaf culture and American Sign Language!  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Education from Illinois State University. Go Redbirds!  I have also  had the pleasure of student teaching at the American School for the Deaf.  American Sign Language is a beautiful, unique language and the deaf population welcomes any individual willing to learn.  So......."Keep calm and SIGN on!"

On this page, you will find information about the classes I teach. Feel free to check out the helpful links to online sign language dictionaries to assist in your studies!

Here's to a great year!
