AP Statistics

Description: AP Statistics is an introductory course equivalent to a one-semester college statistics course that is required for a variety of college majors. Its purpose is to introduce major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. It can be taken individually or concurrently with another math class. Students perform college level work and are expected to take the Advanced Placement exam. This course carries a weighted grade. Graphing calculator required (TI-84+ preferred).

 

Required materials:

  • Graphing calculator (TI-84+ is preferred)
  • Folder or 1” binder solely for AP Stats
  • Pencils/Pens
    • All work must be done in pencil, blue, or black ink. A zero will be given if other colors or writing utensils are used.
