Update for the 2020 AP U.S. Government Exam from the College Board:

The AP Exam will be in an FRQ style format (Free Response Questions) and approximately 45 minutes long.  The Exam will be able to be taken from home and will only cover Units 1, 2 and 3 in the course.  We were about half way through Unit 3 when we left for this extended break.  I have posted weekly assignments for your review and completion in the tabs on this website to help prepare for the AP U.S. Government Exam.  I would encourage students to participate in the activities posted in the weekly tabs to help best prepare for the upcoming AP U.S. Government Exam.

It is unclear at this time what "type" of FRQ will be featured on the AP Exam.  The 4 different types are Concept Application, Quantitative Analysis, SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States) Court Case Comparison and Argumentative Essay.  There is an excellent review video series called "the 12" (link to "the 12" can be found under "AP Review Link" tab on my website) covering each type of FRQ writing along with other content review.  The FRQ Handout that I reviewed with you in class is also posted in a tab called "FRQ Handout" on this website.

I will provide more updates as they become available and as always would encourage any student with questions to reach out to me via email.

I wish you all the best and above all know that I am here for you during this very challenging and difficult time!
