“The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” by John Bishop is the fall play of Plainfield South High School on November 17th and 18th at 7 p.m. and the 19th at 2:30 p.m. The play is a comedy about a creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop (in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious “Stage Door Slasher”) assemble for a backer’s audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy theatre lover. The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways and a German maid. Who is the Stage Door Slasher? Come and find out! The audience will be treated to a sidesplitting good time!
