Five Plainfield South HS students place in 4 by 5 art exhibit

Five Plainfield High School artists were honored in the Chicago Area 4x5 Art Exhibition on November 11, 2020.

Oswego High School hosted the show virtually. It featured more than 50 schools showing more than 1,000 pieces of art.

PSHS was the only District 202 high school to participate.

Here are the winners:

  • Kai Klein, senior: First place for digital photography
  • Marisa Marino, junior: Second place for relief sculpture
  • Hadley Keeley, junior: Honorable mention for computer generated art
  • Alyse Slawinski, junior: Honorable mention for computer generated art
  • Vivianne Angulo junior: Honorable Mention for sculpture

The exhibit started in 1999 at Fremd High School in Palatine.

High school students submit work in the 4x5 format to allow for more art and students to participate.
