Plainfield South High School art students earned $1,059,264 in scholarships at the 6th Annual Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) held on February 24, 2019 in Bridgeport, Illinois.

PSHS students participated in the general art show and the senior art scholarship competition. Their art will be exhibited at two art galleries in Chicago.
These PSHS students earned scholarships and their work was selected for the showcase exhibit: Abbey Grady, Elliot Grady, Emma Jones, Kathryne Oberg, Kimani Tillman, Krystyanna Joseph, Kylee Rosenfeld, and Lindsay Moore.
The exhibit runs through Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Zhou B Art Center and Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.
The IHSAE is an organization made for and by Illinois Art Educators as a platform to promote exceptional art, workshops, and opportunities for students to learn and earn college opportunities, exhibitions, and summer experiences. In all, students vied for $67.6 million in college scholarships.
The IHSAE features several unique programs for high school art students and K-12 Art Educators throughout the year.
