The John F. Kennedy Middle School Poetry Club will host its third annual Plainfield’s Got Talent show on Friday, November 16, 2018.
The free show is open to the public and will be from 6-9 p.m., in the school’s large gym, 12350 S. Essington Road, Plainfield. The show is open to JFK students and alumni.
About 100 students will showcase their artwork in the silent talent show and about 20 students will compete on stage.
Chicago-based poets Harold Green III and Kendria “K-Love” Harris will co-host the show. Green and Harris have been coming to John F. Kennedy for many years working with eighth-grade students on writing and poetry.
Armanti “DJ Manti” Fluence will be the evening’s DJ.
