CLUBS:

Model United Nations is holding a meeting on Thursday October 26th in room 105. If you're interested in foreign affairs or international politics join us after school.

Attention, are you the creative type, do you like to build things. On Thursday October 26 we will have the very first meeting of the brand new model builders club. You will learn to build and paint all types of models and dioramas. Meeting begins right after school in room 120. See Mr. Dvorak with any questions.

 

SPORTS:

All girls interested in the bowling team, there will be an informational meeting Nov 7th right after school in room 194.  Looking for all female bowlers to come meet the new coach and learn about the season

“Anyone interested in wrestling this year there is an informational meeting on Tues. Oct. 24 after school in room 204”

Attention all interested in trying out for winter cheerleading. If you missed the meeting, pick up a tryout packet in the athletic office.  Today is the last day.

 

KUDOS:

Congratulations to the Chess Team for defeating Romeoville last night, 40-28.  Winning boards were: Matt Badali, Dritan Imeri, Matt Matthayasack, Aaron Kovacevic, and Jason Caban.  Great job! 

Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team on winning the Southwest Prairie Conference Championship on Saturday!  It was the 3rd conference championship in a row and 6th overall for the Runnin’ Cougars.  Best of luck this week at the IHSA Regionals.

 

IN CASE YOU HAVEN’T HEARD:

Saturday, October 21st the PSHS Social Studies Department will host its inaugural Halloween Movie Night:

Sit on the Field and enjoy a double feature of Hotel Transylvania followed by Beetlejuice.  Donations of $5 per person or $20 per family will be benefiting Wreaths Across America.

Wreaths Across America raises funds each year to place a Holiday Wreath on Veteran graves at National Cemeteries throughout the United States and at American Military Cemeteries throughout the world.

All funds raised by PSHS will directly benefit Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elburn, IL 

 

Attention all interested in the theatrical arts!  Now is the time for you to be part of DRAMA CLUB!  Come for an informational meeting including information on the International Thespian Society on Tuesday, October 24.  See Mrs. Kamrowski in room 418 if you have any questions.
