Typical of an ideal world, perfect state or place.

The utopian dreams described in literature of the early twentieth century did not translate into realities.



The winners of the National Foreign Language Week poster contest have been selected. Congratulations to all students who participated and thank you for your support of World Language learning! The 2020 poster contest winners are:

Congratulations again! Winners will receive their prizes in their world language classes and their posters will be hung outside of the media center. Remember, "With languages, you are at home anywhere..."

Attention Seniors:

On Monday, March 16th we will have an expert coming in to run an Award Letter Comparison Workshop.  You can sign up for this workshop in Naviance.  If you are still looking for FREE money to help you pay for college, stop in and search for scholarships!  We can also assist you in researching career options.  Please come to the College & Career Center (CCC-rm 300) during your lunch or study hall on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays.  If you need any assistance please see Mrs. Ursetta, hope to see you there!!



“This year’s Spring Musical THE LITTLE MERMAID will open on Friday, March 20th and go through Sunday March 22nd. Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or at the auditorium on performance dates. Come support your talented classmates!”


Attention all juniors and seniors:  Prom ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, March 18th and will end on Thursday, April 9th.  Tickets will be sold in the main office during all lunch periods and after school.  Make sure you pick up the informational packet in one of the front offices.  If you have any additional questions, please see Mrs. Gardner in room 406. 


Attention all Juniors and Seniors- early voting has begun!  The Illinois Primary Election season is here!  From today through 3/17 if you vote in the Illinois Primary Election and bring your voting receipt to Student Services you will be entered in a drawing to win lots of cool prizes, including FREE prom tickets!  Questions, see Mrs. Scanlan.
